FEATURES

This shirt is a 6oz tee made from 100% sustainably and fairly grown USA cotton.  There are a few colors (the grays, heathers, and safety colors) that incorporate a poly blend, but for most colors this t-shirt utilizes a heavy weight cotton. The shirt features double needle stitching throughout, has shoulder to shoulder taping, and features ribbed cuffs.

FEEL & FIT 

First things first – this is not an overly soft shirt.  If you’re looking for an extremely soft t-shirt, you’ll want to lean more towards a ringspun cotton, or a poly or triblend t-shirt. That’s not to say that this shirt is scratchy or comfortable, but it’s a 100% cotton basic long sleeve, and that’s what it feels like. It heavyweight and sturdy, but not overly soft. 

AVAILABLE COLORS

There isn’t a huge representation of pastels with this product, so if you’re looking for a really unique color, you might be better off with one of our other long sleeve offerings. 

WASH TEST

How does the G240 hold up in the wash? To find out, Team CSO put the G240 through the CSO.com wash test. After washing and testing out three different colors of the G240, Team CSO recommends pre-washing/drying the G240 before decorating and recommend ordering a size up if you’re between sizes.  If you don’t want it to shrink - you’ll want to wash and hang dry.

DECORATION

So what can you make with the Gildan 6240 Adult Unisex Ultra Cotton Long Sleeve Tee?  Screen Print, Heat Transfers, DTG – all on the table with this tee.  With the 100% cotton construction, this tee is a great base for tie dye or bleach dyeing applications. Team CSO has also seen customers embroider this shirt with solid results. You definitely don’t want to use this tee if you’re thinking of sublimating. While there are a few colors here with a poly blend, most of the colors are 100% cotton and won’t sublimate well.
